NAJADE UW fins are especially developed for underwater hockey and rugby players. This type of fins provides all advantages which characterize SPRINT fins: high speed, power, very good maneuverability. Furthermore the UW type is comfortable to wear during long-term trainings and competitions, due to its modified shoe part.

Our Najade UW fin is a special improved version of the sprint fins. It combines all the benefits of sprint fins such as hardness, speed, explosiveness, excellent turning ability and long-term use requirements. The design took into account the special conditions, such as the duration and the pulsation of underwater hockey and rugby and we also redesigned the foot piece of the fins accordingly. The result was a fin with an excellent turning ability especially made for sprints, but it still bacame one of the most comfortable fins possible. You can further increase the comfort by using fin socks that protect the foot and, by filling the gap between the size of the foot and the fin, it allows for more efficient energy transfer between your foot and the fin. You can choose between 3 and 5mm thick fin-socks. Remember! The speed of the fins also depends on how smooth the fins are on your foot and how much energy transfer is achieved.
We suggest you put on the fins upside down because in this way you can increase the swimming speed significantly.
Wet the fins and wet and soap your feet before putting on the fins. Catch the rear strap with two hands to pull onto your heel.
Do not expose your fins to sunlight for a longer time because UV radiation reduces their lifetime.
